If the wood is gray and / or dirty, first treat it with a Star brite teak cleaner and a Star brite teak bleacher. Shake the oil/sealer Tropical Teak Oil/Sealer well before applying. Use a mixing stick to turn solid particles at the bottom of the container into a solution. When applying Tropical Teak Oil/Sealer, the teak must be completely dry. Apply the product with a brush of foam in short movements in the direction of wood fibers. It is important to use even brush strokes to obtain a homogeneous finish. Always stop applying at a natural break point, such as a seam. Examine the treated areas to make sure there are no brush marks or irregularities. Uneven or poor application can be corrected by rubbing a clean dry towel in the direction of the fibers until the sealant drys. Any spills or drops should be removed immediately with a white spirit on a clean cloth. One layer is all you need to get the desired color and patina under the tree.
